This broadcasting system designed to transmit additional information on mono/stereo programs in VHF/FM (88 ÷ 108MHz) band represent an outstanding technical solution in virtue of its sophisticated software.                                     It is a high quality equipment as per SIEL tradition to be used in conjunction with encoders and transmitters. The most relevant characteristics are as follows: high spectral purity, possible synchronization with a single 19 KHz external signal or obtained from a multiplex signal, phase programmable at 00900, programmability through external computer, selection of two-pages messages, internal clock, software included.                                     The system meets the requirements defined for the broadcasting of additional information in radio diffusion programs as follows: compatibility with main stereo and mono program; absence of additional interference towards adjacent FM channels; area coverage superior to that covered by mono service; compatibility with other identification systems already in operation.
 
Furthermore, it can be used with the internal multiplex mixer that guarantees a minimal degradation of the input signal, or can be applied to the RDS input of a transmitter or of stereo encoder equipped with the appropriate input.
